The word "Paleontologizing"
( pronounced PAY-lee-on-TALL-oh-jy-zing )
refers to the act of doing paleontology. By turning fossil science into a verb, dinosaur paleontologist Danny Anduza emphasizes that the study of ancient life is a dynamic and ongoing process, with new discoveries and new scientific methods constantly advancing our understanding of Earth’s past. By walking viewers through that process, from fieldwork through publication and beyond, Paleontologizing is all about inspiring and educating the public about the history of life on our incredible planet.
Office streams
The latest paleontology news, interactive chat Q&A, newly-published dinosaur species, live art demonstrations, digital modeling and 3D printing of fossil specimen replicas, special seasonal events, interviews with other paleontologists — it all happens when Danny streams from his office from September through May.
"IRL" streams
Streaming live from sites like museums, zoos, botanical gardens, and more, these “In-Real-Life” broadcasts allow for interactive discussions of natural history, tailored to viewers’ interests and curiosity. You never know what we’ll run into when we’re IRL!
Fieldwork streams
Have you ever wanted to dig up a dinosaur? Broadcasting via satellite from the remote deserts of Utah, Wyoming, and beyond, Danny’s fieldwork streams offer a unique viewing experience that puts you in the center of paleontological discovery. Tune in from June to August for live dinosaur excavations and more.
